The Spanish Space Agency (AEE) will host the third edition of Zero Debris Week between 8 and 11 September in Seville, a global event aimed at accelerating the transition towards sustainable management of space debris and achieving the ambitious goal of zero debris in orbit by 2030.
The event, supported by the European Space Agency (ESA), will take place at the AEE headquarters in the Andalusian capital. Over four days, experts and representatives from industry, space agencies, and academia will come together to address the most pressing challenges in orbital sustainability.
Zero Debris Week 2026 will be structured into two main professional blocks. The first is the 3rd “Zero Debris” Symposium, to be held on 8 and 9 September. This symposium will focus on the non-technical aspects of the initiative, such as the commercial and political challenges linked to the proliferation of space debris. The second block will be more technical in nature and will run from 9 to 11 September, featuring a hands-on workshop on the Zero Debris Technical Booklet.
The programme will also include a series of social activities and networking opportunities.
The 2026 edition will feature the participation of key players in the space sector.
