Seville will soon become one of the international hubs for immersive space outreach with the arrival of Space Explorers: THE ISS EXPERIENCE, an exhibition that allows visitors to step into the daily lives of astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) without ever leaving Earth.

Presented by Infinity Experiences, the exhibition will be available in the city for a limited time. It combines virtual reality, cinematic storytelling, and immersive technology to recreate—with a remarkable level of realism—what it is like to live and work nearly 400 kilometers above the Earth’s surface.

Since its international debut in 2021, the project has been experienced by more than half a million people worldwide and has established itself as one of the leading immersive productions in the field of science communication. Based on real footage captured both inside and outside the ISS, it forms part of the largest audiovisual project ever filmed in space.

Access to this environment remains exceptionally rare. Fewer than 300 people have traveled to the International Space Station over the past two decades. Against this backdrop, the experience aims to bring the public closer to a reality previously reserved for professional astronauts, combining real-life testimonies, documentary footage, and first-person virtual exploration.

During an approximately 40-minute journey, visitors explore a virtual replica of the space station, interact with scenes from daily life in orbit, and observe Earth from space through a recreation of the famous overview effect—the profound emotional experience reported by astronauts when viewing our planet from beyond its atmosphere.

The experience is inspired by the Emmy Award-winning series Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, developed by Felix & Paul Studios in collaboration with TIME Studios and several international space agencies. The project features never-before-seen footage captured aboard the ISS, alongside interviews and first-hand accounts from astronauts on active missions.
