Seville City Council has received a delegation from the Ariane Cities Community, CVA, which was received at the City Hall by the delegate of Cartuja, Innovative Parks, Employment, Economy, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Álvaro Pimentel, on the occasion of the first board meeting in the framework of Seville’s presidency as European Space Capital.

The Ariane Cities Community delegation included the Mayor of Vernon, François Ouzilleau, the Director General of AVC, Winters Gaele, the Director of the Cabinet of the French Space Agency (CNES), Pierre Trefouret, and representatives of the Ariane Group.

Tomorrow, Friday 2 February, will see the handover of the presidency of the Community of Ariane Cities (CVA). From then on, Seville will become the European Space Capital for 2024, with an intense programme of events coordinated by Seville City Council, the CVA and Airbus.
