The Cajasol Foundation presents ‘A Screen for the Space Race’, a film series that invites us to explore the universe and the history of the conquest of space through cinema.
The screenings will take place at the Cajasol Theatre over three Sundays in October. The series will begin on the 4th with a double bill comprising Excursión a la Luna, by Segundo de Chomón, and El viaje cósmico, by Vasily Zhuravlyov. It will continue on Tuesday the 13th with the talk ‘To Infinity and Beyond! The Space Race in Cinema’. The screenings will resume on Sunday the 18th with Hidden Figures, by Theodore Melfi, and will conclude on the 25th with Sergio and Sergei, by Ernesto Daranas.
All screenings will begin at 12.00 at the Teatro Cajasol, situated in Plaza de San Francisco, Seville, with the entrance on Calle Chicarreros. Admission is free, subject to availability.
