The Descubre Foundation is organising a special ‘Coffee with Science’ event to mark World Space Week. The event will bring together four researchers working in the space sector with a group of secondary school and/or sixth-form students for a relaxed breakfast.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to talk directly with the researchers, learn first-hand about their experiences and career paths, and discover the main challenges and opportunities presented by space research, both now and in the future.
The aim is to bring science and research closer to young people in an accessible and participatory way, to spark their curiosity about knowledge and to encourage scientific and technological careers amongst the younger generations.
