Constelación Atlántica: From talent to space
The Spanish Space Agency is dedicating the second day of World Space Week to young talent and careers in science, combining creativity in schools with space training:
• ‘Christening of the Atlantic Constellation’: Discover the mission of this Spanish-Portuguese Earth observation satellite network and meet the winning students from the national school competition, who will take to the stage to reveal the meaning behind the names they have chosen for the new Spanish satellites.
• ‘Astronaut for a Day: from tests to microgravity’: The young AEE Ambassadors will share their experience of passing a demanding selection process modelled on that of the European Space Agency (ESA) and describe what it feels like to float in zero gravity during a parabolic flight, inspiring other students to pursue careers in STEM.
