Seville brings together companies and technology centres to showcase advances in electrification, artificial intelligence and space technologies at the second edition of Innaero, held at the headquarters of the School of Industrial Organisation (EOI) in Seville TechPark, with the participation of companies, experts and technology centres.

The event, organised by Andalucía Aerospace, the Association for Management Development (APD) and the EOI, showcased eight R&D&I projects that tackle some of the sector’s key challenges. These include the development of electric aircraft, the application of artificial intelligence to industrial processes, the improvement of satellite communications and the creation of advanced materials to increase the efficiency and safety of aircraft.

One of the key players has been POWER4AIR, coordinated by the Seville-based company Skylife Engineering, which received the Award for Best Aerospace Innovation Project for its work on electric and hybrid propulsion technologies. Other initiatives presented included the eCaravan, which aims to make its maiden flight in 2027, and digital solutions designed to optimise aerospace manufacturing.

Through this event, Andalucía Aerospace, APD and EOI aim to foster collaboration between companies and institutions and raise the profile of the region’s technological talent. The projects presented reflect the Andalusian sector’s commitment to more sustainable aviation, a more digitalised industry and the development of strategic capabilities in the space and defence sectors.
