Integrasys and the University of Seville have been selected by NASA among organizations worldwide that will voluntarily track the Orion spacecraft during the crewed Artemis II mission around the Moon. The list of 34 participants includes government entities, commercial companies, universities, and private citizens.
The Artemis II test flight will launch NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, which will carry the Orion spacecraft and a crew of four astronauts on an approximately 10-day mission to orbit the Moon and return to Earth.
According to Integrasys sources, the company’s collaboration focuses on the Orbisat platform, a space tracking system responsible for monitoring the trajectory of space vehicles.
The antenna that Integrasys will use to track the mission will be installed in the coming days at the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSI), thanks to the collaboration of the University of Seville.
