Seville City Council has unveiled the full programme of activities for NISE 2025 (New Industry in Southern Europe), which will take place on December 2 and 3 at the Seville Exhibition and Conference Centre, FIBES 1.
The stand of Seville, Industrial Capital of Southern Europe will dedicate its first day, December 2, to showcasing the strength and potential of the Southern European space hub.
Thanks to the initiative of the City Council, through Seville, Spanish Space Capital, and the collaborative work with the Space Forum, a programme has been designed that brings together the main representatives of the industrial and business ecosystem of the sector. The goal is to strengthen Seville’s national leadership and consolidate its position as a benchmark in innovation, technology, and talent within the new space industry.
The exhibition area will feature major companies and industrial clusters. In the field of defense and the aerospace sector, companies such as Airbus, Alter Technology, Solarmems, Indaero, and the European project Stratolaser will participate.
This will be followed by a segment dedicated to the Sevillian Aerospace Industry, structured into two sessions in which leading companies —including Airbus, Alter Technology, Solarmems, and Indaero— as well as research groups from the University of Seville, will present their main innovation lines and technological capabilities in areas such as applied artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, and automation.
In the afternoon, the stand will host the presentation of the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBiS), followed by a detailed overview of ESA BIC Andalucía’s incubation programmes. The day will conclude with the session “Opportunities for Technology-Based Companies in the Space Sector,” in which a dozen tech companies will present their emerging projects.
