Mayo has a solid track record in the aerospace and defence sector, having held senior positions in Spain and internationally. He was president of Galileo Sistemas y Servicios and the Spanish representative on the Board of Directors of Galileo Industries, playing an active role in the development of the European satellite navigation programme. He has also contributed to the definition of the National Space Plan and currently chairs the advisory committee of the European Space Agency (ESA) Navigation Innovation Programme.<\/p>\n
Having trained as an aeronautical engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and completed executive studies at IESE Business School, Mayo has joined Indra Space on a mission to strengthen the company’s position in major European programmes and promote new opportunities that will advance the continent’s technological autonomy.<\/p>\n
