The Coheteros US and FyCUS teams participated in the European forum on science, technology, and innovation, Transfiere 2026, held in Málaga. Both groups of young innovators presented their developments at the stand of the Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation of the Andalusian Government, alongside researchers, students, and institutional representatives.
The University of Seville was also institutionally represented in various forum activities by the Vice-Rector for Innovation, Knowledge Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, Ángel Luis Trigo; the Director of Entrepreneurship, Francisco Liñán; and the Professor at the Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering, Rafael Vázquez Valenzuela.
At the Research Center space, three university researchers showcased their scientific advances: Professor Elena María Talero, on pharmacological compounds; Emeritus Professor Federico París, on advanced materials; and Professor Pablo Fernández Montes, in the field of dual-use technology innovation.
One of the highlights was the roundtable “Unmanned Air Mobility: The CUAM Innovation Ecosystem”, moderated by Nieves Valenzuela, Director General for Innovation Promotion. The CUAM project, led by the University of Seville with a total investment of €20 million, featured the participation of Ángel Luis Trigo; Brigadier General Rafael Fernández-Shaw; Antidio Viguria, Director of Avionics and Systems at CATEC; and José Ramiro Martínez de Dios, Director of CUAM.
