The Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation has launched a grant program totaling €180,000 to support six innovative business projects in the space sector that will be developed at the European Space Agency (ESA) business incubator in Seville.
Each initiative can receive up to €30,000 from the Andalusian regional government, an amount that will be matched by a similar contribution from ESA, reaching a maximum grant of €60,000 per project, as published this Monday in the Official Gazette of the Andalusian Government (BOJA).
In 2026, a second call will be launched with a similar budget for another six entrepreneurial projects. According to the program guidelines, the grant will cover up to 50% of the project’s budget, with a limit of €30,000 per beneficiary entity.
Through this initiative, the incubator aims to transform innovative ideas into competitive companies, promote technology transfer from the space sector to other productive industries, and attract highly qualified talent to Andalusia, strengthening the region’s position as a hub for space-related innovation and entrepreneurship.
