Seville is taking another step forward in consolidating its position as the epicentre of the aerospace sector, having made the first connection in Andalusian history with the ISS. As part of New Space & Solutions 2025, Seville witnessed an unprecedented moment when Nichole Ayers, a member of the new ISS crew, participated in a live conversation.
During the conversation, Ayers shared her first impressions of the space station with representatives of the Andalusian Regional Government and Seville City Council, where she will remain for the next six months. She said emotionally, “I am fulfilling every girl’s dream. I always dreamed of travelling to space, and now I’m here.”
