Explore the Solar System: Embark on an extraordinary journey to different parts of the inner Solar System and learn about celestial bodies such as the Moon, Venus, Mars, Earth, asteroids and comets. All audiences welcome. Sessions: Sunday 5th from 7:00pm to 7:45pm, and Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th from 6:00pm to 6:45pm.
Looking at the Sky: Observe the sky using the Stellarium programme. Be amazed by the size of the planets in the Solar System and learn about the phases of the Moon through experimentation and manipulation. Ages 10 and under. Sessions: Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th, 1:00–1:45 pm.
Dark Biosphere: Join the search for exoplanets and life in the universe by studying the microorganisms that live beneath the Earth’s surface, which could provide clues to the origin of life. Ages 10 and up. Sessions: Saturday 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8, Thursday 9 and Friday 10, all from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
