For just three decades, we have known that there are thousands of planets beyond our Solar System, many so unusual that they seem straight out of science fiction and force us to rethink our view of the cosmos.
Led by astrophysicist Fran Pozuelos, from the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC), we will explore some of these fascinating discoveries, find out how astronomers manage to detect worlds invisible to the naked eye, and learn what clues these new worlds offer us about the possibility of finding life beyond Earth.
